Publishing availability
Nobody can book you until you add times. Clients book directly into a slot you have published — there is no request for you to accept or decline. Go to Availability, pick a date and time, pick a duration (30, 60 or 90 minutes), and click Add. The rules:- Times must be in the future.
- No overlaps. A slot running into one you have already published is refused, and you are told which one it clashes with. Back-to-back is fine — a slot ending at 11:00 and one starting at 11:00 do not overlap — but 10:00–11:00 and 10:30–11:30 cannot both exist, because you would owe two people the same half hour.
- All times are in one consistent zone, the same one your client sees. There is no time-zone maths for either of you.
When someone books you
You get an email, and the booking appears under Bookings with the client and their business, the package and its written scope, the session time, and what you will be paid. Each booking says at the top what it currently needs from you — record an outcome, mark the work complete, or nothing but waiting on the client. Read the scope. It is what the client agreed to and what you are being paid to deliver, and it is locked to that booking so it cannot shift under you later.Running the session
Open the booking and use Join at the scheduled time — a private video room in your browser, nothing to install. The room opens 30 minutes before the scheduled start and closes 4 hours after it.After each session: record the outcome
Mark how the session went — completed, no show, or rescheduled. You can only do this once the start time has passed. This matters more than it looks. You cannot close a booking until every session has an outcome, and if there is ever a dispute about a no-show, this is the evidence that gets looked at.Marking the work complete
Once every session in the package has an outcome, Mark complete becomes available. That tells the client the work is done and starts the clock on your payment. You cannot mark a three-session package complete after one session — the button stays disabled and tells you what is outstanding. Then you are paid
The client confirms, and the money is released. If they do not: they get a reminder at day 3, and at day 7 it is confirmed automatically and you are paid anyway. You are not dependent on a client remembering to come back. What happens if you forget
Recording outcomes is not optional housekeeping — nothing moves until you do it, and the client’s money stays held.
None of that is punitive — it exists so a booking you genuinely forgot does not strand your own payment.
