**Whetstone connects business owners with semi-retired and retired professionals for short, paid, clearly-defined advisory sessions.** Every advisor is checked by a real person before they can take work, every session is covered by insurance, and your money is held safely until the work is done.

## The idea in one line

You describe a problem. A person at Whetstone reads it and hand-picks advisors who have solved it before. You book one, the money is held until the work is done, and then it is released.

  **Prices are in Australian dollars**, and Whetstone's advisors are Australia-based for now. An international card works normally; your own bank may add its own conversion fee.

  **Times** are shown in one consistent time zone across the whole site, so a time you see on a booking is the same time your advisor sees.
