# How Whetstone Session Packages Work

> Whetstone uses fixed-price session packages instead of hourly billing or retainers. Learn what each package includes before you book.

Whetstone sells fixed-price packages rather than hourly billing or open-ended retainers. Each includes a set number of insured advisory sessions and a written scope.

## The packages

| Package                      | What it is                                                   | Price  |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ | ------ |
| **Single session**           | One focused 60-minute session on a single defined problem    | A\$120 |
| **Three-session engagement** | Three sessions over four weeks — diagnose, plan, then review | A\$300 |

Packages are set by Whetstone and are the same whichever advisor you book. The advisor decides their availability, not the price.

**Which one?** If you have one specific question, take a single session. If your problem needs someone to look, think, and then check whether the plan worked, take the three-session engagement.

## What the scope means

Every package carries a written scope — a plain sentence saying exactly what it covers. That sentence is **copied onto your booking when you book**, so it cannot change afterwards, in either direction.

It also means the engagement has a defined end. An advisor is not drifting into being your unpaid ongoing consultant, and you are not signing up to an open commitment.

## Scheduling a multi-session package

Only the first session is scheduled at checkout. You book the remaining sessions yourself, from your advisor's published times, using the **Schedule a session** panel on the booking. The booking cannot be closed until every session has actually happened.

<Note>
  Prices are in Australian dollars, and Whetstone's advisors are Australia-based for now. An international card works normally; your bank may add its own conversion fee.
